The BJP will launch a 12-day nationwide campaign on Feb. 1 to raise awareness of “pro-people” measures to be announced in the union budget, party leaders have said.
The campaign will be coordinated by senior BJP official Sushil Modi and will end on February 12, they said.
BJP President JP Nadda has formed a nine-member task force, including party general secretary Sunil Bansal and leaders of its peasant and youth wings, to organize discussions, press conferences or seminars on the Union budget in all districts of the country, they said.
On Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union budget for 2023-24 to parliament.
A day after the Union budget is presented to parliament, chief ministers of all BJP-led states under the campaign will hold press conferences, the party leaders said, adding that in in states where the party is not in power, BJP unit chiefs and assembly opposition leaders will hold press conferences.

In 50 major cities across the country, ministers of the Narendra Modi government will hold press conferences to highlight “pro-people” measures announced in the Union budget, they said.
After the budget presentation, the BJP is also expected to hold a meeting of its spokespersons.
To finalize the programs and decide on the campaign plan of the BJP on the budget of the Union, the working group constituted for this purpose met on Monday at the headquarters of the BJP in New Delhi.
This Union budget will be the last full-fledged budget of the Narendra Modi government’s second term since the general elections will be held in 2024. Therefore, the ruling BJP in the Center wants to make the most of this campaign.
Also earlier, the BJP held nationwide public awareness exercises to inform people about the various reforms and initiatives announced by the Modi government in its budgets.
